Abstract

Children with Special Needs (ABK) are at higher risk of experiencing sexual abuse, while adaptive educational media remain limited. This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge and self-protection skills of students with special needs through smart posters and interactive educational songs based on the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) Theory. The activity was conducted at SD Sinar Indonesia Bogor on June 3, 2026, involving 26 students with special needs (mild-moderate intellectual disability and high-functioning autism) selected through total sampling. The intervention consisted of smart posters, the song "Sentuhan Boleh, Sentuhan Tidak Boleh" (Allowed Touch, Not Allowed Touch), and educational games. Observation results showed that 100% of students did not take off their pants in front of others, 96.2% were able to stay away from strangers, and 92.3% refused touches on private body parts. However, the ability to report to parents (57.7%) and to ask questions actively (46.2%) remained low. It can be concluded that the adaptive educational method based on S-O-R Theory is effective in improving the self-protection skills of children with special needs, although two-way communication requires continuous reinforcement.
