Stimulasi Biophilia Anak Usia Dini melalui Media Boneka dan Aktivitas Kreatif
Abstract
This community service activity aimed to stimulate biophilia in early childhood through animal introduction using educational animal puppets/statues and creative activities. The activity was conducted at TK PAUD Tulus Bunda, Lamtanjong Village, Sukamakmur District, Aceh Besar, involving 27 children. The program applied learning by playing through animal introduction, interaction with animal media, educational videos, animal sound or movement imitation, and coloring activities. Evaluation was conducted using observation of 10 indicators of children's engagement and responses and assessment of coloring activities. The results showed 81.48% interest in the animal media, 85.19% ability to recognize animals, 88.89% focus during educational videos, and 85.19% concern for living things. The average coloring activity achievement was 82.41%, while the overall observation score reached 91.98% of the maximum score. The activity indicates that a combination of concrete and visual media, play, and creative activities can serve as an initial stimulation to foster children's interest and positive attitudes toward animals and living things.
