Pelatihan Pembuatan POC Limbah Rumah Tangga dan PGPR Akar Bambu

Abstract


The use of household organic waste and local resources as raw materials for alternative fertilizers has not yet been optimally implemented by the community of Wonokerso Village, Tembarak Subdistrict, Temanggung Regency. This situation has the potential to increase dependence on chemical fertilizers while also resulting in household organic waste not being managed optimally. The training activity aimed to improve the community’s knowledge and skills in producing Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) from household waste and Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) from bamboo roots. Implementation methods included observation, coordination, extension services, demonstrations, and hands-on practice with farmer groups and the community. The results of the activities showed that participants actively participated and understood the stages of POC and PGPR production, indicators of successful fermentation, and application techniques for plants. The activities contributed to enhancing the community’s capacity to utilize local resources as an alternative to environmentally friendly fertilizers to support sustainable agriculture.
