Implementasi Program Brus Anti Bullying untuk Meningkatkan Kesadaran Remaja di SMK YPUI Parung
Abstract
Bullying is a problem that is still frequently found in schools and can negatively impact students' mental health, social relationships, and academic achievement. The low level of understanding among adolescents regarding the forms, impacts, and prevention of bullying is the basis for the implementation of the BRUS (School Age Youth Guidance) Program at SMK YPUI Parung. This study aims toincrease students' knowledge, awareness and concern for bullying behavior and encourage the formation of anti-bullying behavior in the school environment. Research purposes The method used was interactive psychoeducation through face-to-face counseling, covering material on the definition of bullying, types of bullying (physical, verbal, relational, and cyber), the impact of bullying, and the importance of the role of peers in preventing and handling bullying cases. The activity evaluation was conducted using a Google Form and analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' understanding of bullying, Growing awareness of the impact on victims, as well as changes in students' attitudes to become more courageous in preventing, reprimanding, and reporting acts of bullying. The BRUS program has proven to be effective in increasing anti-bullying awareness.bullying and encourage the creation of a safer, more comfortable and supportive school environment for students.
